My Soul Mate

Few months ago I was told that I have been lucky to meet my "Soul Mate". I did not understood the meaning of this till just a few days ago. First, I learnd of this again in Paulo Coelio`s book "Brida", where he wrote that everyone of us do have a "Soul Mate", and that we should meet each other in each life, though this is not always the case as it turns out.
How can I recognise that someone is my "soul Mate"?, according to Coelio, when you meet, you will see a light in the other`s eyes and another light above the left arm.
Few days ago, I have seen these signs in another person. I had it checked and it is confirmed.
